First date...if you have to drink to want to kiss the guy, it probably is not a good match. On the other hand, if all that you want is for the guy to shut up so you can make out with him, probably not relationship material either. So if you find that magic combination of both interesting and cute, you have made it through the first date hurdle.
It took me 7 months and dating several candidates to make it to that brilliant conclusion. So far I have dated younger guys, older guys, workaholics, addictive personalities, p.h.d.s, and sensitive poetry boys...with the end result being me sitting on my couch writing a blog on my macbook. My hope is that through chronicling my dating experiences, I will establish guidelines for daters...or at least entertain a few people.
